The Summit Country Day School
Serving children 18 months - 6 years
The Summit Preschool is the only independent school in our area offering a full Montessori preschool experience and one of only a few who are applying the Montessori philosophy in an educational program that starts at 18 months! Whether you are interested in half-day or full-day, there are multiple options, including academic enrichment programs.

The Summit Montessori Program
The toddler curriculum addresses the three primary developmental needs for a child under age 3 – movement, language, and order – and provides objects, relationships and an environment which fulfill the toddler’s innate compulsion to learn. Learning is self-directed and supported in each classroom by university-trained Montessori curriculum experts.

The gym equipment is specifically designed to stimulate fine and gross motor skills and many opportunities for outdoor learning and play on walk-out classroom patios, an outdoor playground, a rooftop playground Naturescape, a dedicated Outdoor Learning Space and the Leibold Pond.
As children advance through the toddler program they move seamlessly into the Pre-K and Kindergarten Montessori program, which continues development of confidence and enabling them to face new challenges as they grow.

King of Kings Preschool & Kindergarten
Since 1995, King of Kings has offered a classical, Christian education focused on instructing, enriching, and helping students grow to their fullest potential. The curriculum is play-based, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Development Standards. They use a developmental educational philosophy which capitalizes on a children’s innate ability to learn – positively challenging students academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually – to prepare them well for elementary school. King of Kings is nationally accredited and serves ages 2 through Kindergarten and offers enrichment through art, music, gym, Spanish, and ELL. (Mom bonus – they also offer summer camps and a car rider line.)
All three of our children attended King of Kings Preschool. We cannot imagine a more loving, enriching, faith-filled, educational and nurturing environment! Children's Learning Adventure
Children’s Learning Adventure (CLA) offers the highest-quality infant, toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten, before and after school, holiday and summer camp programs for ages six weeks to 12 years old. Children’s Learning Adventure’s STEAM-based curriculum ensures daily exposure to science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through a multiple learning environments approach. In addition to a primary homeroom, CLA provides daily small group instruction in specialty classrooms to provide authentic learning activities. Students will apply the knowledge they learned in homeroom in specialty classrooms, such as practicing math skills by measuring ingredients in a culinary class.

The Primrose School of Symmes
The Primrose School of Symmes provides the best in early childhood learning for infants through private full-day kindergarten as well as afterschool programming through age 12. Children's Meeting House
Children’s Meeting House Montessori School has been guiding children in their education socially, emotionally and academically for over 45 years. The CMH community has a strong family atmosphere, allowing teachers and parents to partner during their children’s most developmental years.
We have loved our going on 8 years at CMH. Over our time with the school, I have watched my children grow educationally, physically and emotionally under the very careful eye of the loving staff of CMH. The staff knows my kids and they create a nurturing, fun and safe learning environment that my kids have thrived in. The New School Montessori
For 46 years, The New School Montessori has been leading the way as a model for Montessori methodology and philosophy and is Cincinnati’s only Montessori school accredited by the American Montessori Society. TNSM embraces diversity – valuing differences in race, culture, family, and thought.
As a grandfather of a first-grade student who has attended TNSM since she was 3 1/2, I am completely impressed with the philosophy, faculty, and staff. The students we have met are equally impressive. – Paul
Their kitchen staff, (led by the former chef of a downtown café), prepares made-from-scratch, hot, nutritious lunches every day with many vegetarian options. This is one school that has truly given thought to every little detail to make your child’s school day as nurturing as possible.

Northstar Classical School

St. Gabriel Consolidated School
Choosing St. Gabe has been one of the best decisions we have made for our family. With only two classes for each grade, Kindergarten through 8th, the teachers and staff quickly got to know our family, which helped us feel like members of the community right from the start. The Children's House
The Children’s House is a Pre-School – Daycare – Kindergarten concept started over 20 years ago to serve the needs of Greater Cincinnati families looking for quality care with an educational focus. We employ a mix of traditional and Montessori methods to teach children language, math, science, art, music and movement and geography. The Children’s House believes that providing an exciting and extensive education to young children is critical in developing lifelong learners. We accept children as young as 18 months (several centers accept Infants as well) through school-age.

Montessori Center Room
Founded in 1966, Montessori Center Room prides themselves on an approach which respects the whole child and puts the child’s best interest at the heart of everything they do. MCR is equipped fully with the Montessori materials of daily living, sensorial, math, language, art science and geography, as well as many supplemental activities, including large-muscle activity in an indoor gym, field trips, and School House Symphony.

As their first school experience, MCR makes it their goal to help children leave with a love of learning, a respect for others, and respect for the environment and the classroom. MCR strives to enroll children from all socio-economic backgrounds and provides tuition assistance for families with a demonstrated financial need.

The Gardner School
The Gardner School is an academically-focused preschool with state-of-the-art facilities for six weeks old to six years old.
