Story Time with Mrs. Claus

First and foremost, we owe a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Claus for stepping in at the last minute after our regular Mrs. Claus had a significant illness.  She had big shoes to fill, and she did a wonderful job!

The Activities

mrs-claus-vendor-1mrs-claus-vendor-2We had a wonderful group of businesses join us for some holiday fun!  Anna and Elsa from Princess Grace Events dazzled the crowd and Songs for Seeds rocked the house!  Tippi Toes Dance provided a coloring table and Woolly Llama Pegs brought peg people ornaments for the kids to decorate.  Ralph (local dad and creator of Santa’s Sleigh Ride) joined us to let everyone try out their hand at being Santa and delivering presents to cities all over the world on his fun board game.  As if that’s not enough, we also had a Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt sponsored by King Arthur’s Court Toys and Holiday Mini Sessions provided by My Inner Circle Photography!

The Food

mrs-claus-foodLet’s start with the hot chocolate bar…Wampler Law Firm sponsored these warm, delicious treats!  Not only did they sponsor the materials, but Jay Wampler himself served the hot chocolate to everyone.  Our friends from Grateful Grahams, Delicious Designs Cookies, and Nothing Bundt Cakes also brought us some goodies to satisfy our sweet tooth.

I originally hail from the Land of Lincoln (Illinois), but I am happy to have called the Buckeye State my home since 2007! I have two kids (Milo, 5 & Dash, 2) that I just adore about 50% of the time. The other half of the time I’m dodging balls being thrown at my head while cleaning snot off of my shirt for the 3rd time and reminiscing about the days I actually slept. Also, I love cats. And I have mediocre crochet talents.
