I was getting bored with our normal oatmeal recipes this week, and thought it would be fun to create an oatmeal recipe that tasted like an oatmeal raisin cookie. This recipe is simple, and Audrey and I both gobbled it up.

Ingredients:
• 2 ¼ cups water
• 1 cup rolled oats
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¼ cup raisins, regular or golden (I used golden as that was what was in my cabinet)
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• Unsweetened vanilla almond milk to taste

Instructions:
• Combine water, oats, and salt in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low, cover and cook for 18 minutes.
• Turn off heat. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.
• Drizzle with almond milk to make it creamy.
Enjoy!
