I am historically a little late to the game when it comes to computer trends. I joined facebook years after the rest of the world, same for Pinterest. And while I am on facebook daily, I am not as enraptured with Pinterest. I have never done instagram or twitter (shhh, don’t tell). Just thinking about it makes me tired.
Etsy however… Etsy is the love of my life.
I discovered this gem a little behind the rest of the world as well, but once I found out it existed, I never turned back. I love that there are people taking charge of their own talents and businesses. I love all of the pretty, mostly handmade items that can be ordered online and shipped wherever I need them to go. I love that it has made it possible for me to give creative gifts once again. The snitch bracelet I gave my Harry Potter loving niece a few years ago for Christmas was one of those great finds. It was so much more rewarding to know that she loved something that I hand picked for her because I thought she would appreciate it instead of just selecting an item off of a printed out wish list. It makes gift giving so much more fun.

JOANSGARDENS ~ Great gift for that Mom you want to pamper or for when you just don’t know what to get someone.
warmnfuzzies ~ I really want to have quilts made for my girls out of their baby clothes, but her pillows are super cute as well.
Corakid ~ These aprons are study and downright adorable. I looked around FOREVER for an apron for my daughter to use when we cook and never found any that worked as well as these. And have room for her to grow with it.
