We are thrilled to announce that we’ve added a new contributor to our team! Her name is Jen Thomas and she is going to be an amazing addition to the Cincinnati Moms Blog team!
“I’m Jen, I’m a Cincinnati native and as such my other ‘nati natives are probably asking themselves, “Eastside or Westside?” to which I’ll proudly proclaim – Eastside. I grew up in Anderson township and while I bounced around a bit after returning to Cincinnati following college, I’ve landed back in Anderson again. I do have family on the West side though, so I like to think I can navigate pretty well back and forth.
I work for an educational publisher up in Mason and have two little ones – Evie – 6.5 and in first grade and Joey – 4 and in preschool. I think they’re hilarious. We also have two dogs and a Dyson – which you need for the dogs! My husband, Scott, is a Nurse Practitioner down at UC in the emergency department, so he works odd hours, but he loves his job.
I’m also a runner (just ran my best half so far up in Loveland last month at 2:00:52) and a sort of amateur cook/foodie. I love books, reading, movies, music, and the Interwebs. I’m hoping that in writing for CMB I’ll get a little more structure around my writing time, and I’m so excited to be joining!”
