Allison L post

I am a wife, mommy to my sweet and spunky 2.5 year old little girl, Rory, and an art teacher. As a Cincinnati native I love this city and am thankful to be raising my family here. My day job often finds its way into my family life as I love getting creative with my daughter and letting her run wild with paint and lots of other art supplies. I am passionate about encouraging creativity and art making at any age. When I am not crafting or having adventures with my little girl, I love organizing, decorating, shopping for a bargain, exploring new places for family fun around the city, cooking, and searching for local restaurants with great food. I also run an Etsy shop, Aurora Jane’s Boutique, with my sister selling screen printed baby and toddler apparel.

Be with my family. Nothing fancy, just being silly together, eating good food, and having some sort of adventure.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be and why?

This is really hard because I am an art teacher! I love them all and tell my husband all the time that we need to go to the Crayola factory so I can see them being made.

What song would you sing at karaoke night?

I am not much of a singer but I could probably do a pretty good rendition of “Let It Go” from Frozen. I get lots of practice at home while watching the movie with my daughter!

Who would you call for bail money?

My hubby or my mom, one of them is sure to bail me out!

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?

Needs coffee to operate.

If you had to eat at one Cincinnati restaurant for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I am a true Italian and could not live without pasta, so I’d have to say one of my favorite Italian restaurants, Pitrelli’s Italian Ristoranté in Mason.Allison L

What is your favorite place to take the kids in Cincinnati?

My daughter is a little animal lover so we love the Cincinnati Zoo. We go there at least once a week in the summer.

What is your favorite thing about being a mom?

I absolutely love watching my daughter learn new things. It is so exciting to see the little person she is becoming. I also can’t resist all of the kisses, hugs, and snuggles!

What is your least favorite thing about being a mom?

The exhaustion, but its all totally worth it!

Welcome Allison!
