A huge thank you to West Chester Hospital for being our gracious host for BLOOM! As part of UC Health, West Chester Hospital strives to provide the best health care to all who enter their hospital with excellence and compassion. Not only did they offer the perfect, beautiful space for this event, they also provided breakfast goodies during the VIP tea and offered tours of the new maternity unit! Our guests were also able to learn about Baby Cafe, a free breastfeeding support and encouragement group. What a great resource WCH is for new and expecting moms!

:: The VIP Experts ::
From 9-10a, 31 VIP guests enjoyed exclusive access to four of our hand-picked experts! After being seated in 4 groups and playing a little baby-shower-themed game to get the laughter flowing, our moms and guests had 15-minutes with each expert to ask their burning questions. From babywearing to baby sleeping, acupuncture to placenta encapsulation, we had something for everyone.
Spine and Wellness Cincinnati representatives were on hand to talk about wellness for the entire family including acupuncture and chiropractic care in pregnancy and childbirth, natural relief for pain and common pregnancy symptoms, chiropractic care for newborns and mothers post delivery, and how to raise a holistic family. They are located in Madeira and are always welcoming new patients!
Our friend Kate from Baby Mine Sleep Consultants is a Gentle Sleep Coach trained and certified by Kim West, a.k.a. The Sleep Lady. She works with tired families of children 4 months to 6 years of age to help get everyone the sleep they need and deserve to be happy and healthy. She believes there is no “one size fits all” solution but instead works to help create a plan that includes each family’s parenting philosophy, needs and goals, as well as the child’s temperament. She’s a great local resource to have in your back pocket!
The Red Balloon Cafe + Play is an escape for busy families and a great resource for natural parenting products. Cera, co-owner, focused her discussions on the big, big world of babywearing. She was even able to answer some cloth diapering questions. The next time you’re in the neighborhood, stop by to enjoy some tasty treats and coffee from the cafe and check out their large selection of baby carriers, cloth diapers, toys, artisan goods, and more!
Both Emily and Katie from Doulas of Cincinnati answered questions about private and group childbirth education, labor doula support, postpartum doula support, placenta encapsulation, belly binding, lactation support and maternity, birth and newborn photography to area families. They’ve got you covered from the first positive pregnancy test to baby’s first tooth!

We had 25 amazing vendors that provided resources across the spectrum of motherhood! We were intentional in our partnerships with these vendors so all of our guests would have the opportunity to ask their questions and learn something new!
