Born and raised in Cincinnati, I grew up on the east side and couldn’t wait to sow my wild oats. After moving away first to attend a small liberal arts college and then for a brief stint in Chicago, I missed the Queen’s city and moved back home. Today my life consists of working in Human Resources for a local aquatics management company, coaching high school swimming, chasing around my two cute kids and somehow finding time to be a wife, daughter, sister and friend. My hobbies include drinking coffee, sleeping, car or shower-singing and stealing away a few minutes to jot down random thoughts on my personal blog, http://beimperfection.com/. I am thrilled to be able to pass some of those “random thoughts” onto this blog.

Hi, I am Trishia Ralston and value the gift of investing in my tribe: grateful wife to a humble, generous, faithful leader for our family & mother to an adventurous 4-year-old son, loves life big 5-year-old daughter, & an explorer 6-year-old son. Investing in authentic connection is a fuel of my heart for community. I believe that presence matters & that people can find strength by having someone in the trenches with them. Faith holds me steady and to live loved, by His grace, anchors my perspective in the everyday. You can see me investing in T Ralston Photography, exploring the city with my family, coffee heart to heart dates with my community, or enjoying the retreat of a good book.

I am a Cincinnati native but live centrally after growing up on the East side. I have loved living in Clifton since 1992. I am a nurse who works full time and a mother of three boys, happily married for twenty years. I am a fiercely introverted extrovert. I am an urban homesteader who is extremely eco-conscious. I am also 45 and middle-age motherhood is tricky. The rules are always changing. Hey, world!

I am a native Cincinnatian, born and raised on the West Side and currently settled across the river in Northern Kentucky. I’m a former Highlander, Bearcat, Falcon, and Fulbright Scholar. My greatest challenge hitherto is the one I love the most: being a Mom to an energetic six-year-old boy. When not working full-time at one of the city’s great hospitals, I’m trying to fit in all there is to do in this wonderful city – and there is certainly A LOT to do! As one who loves to read, I am an advocate for the public library and go often. I also enjoy attending the theater, ballet, opera, orchestra, and comedy club. I am an introvert, a bit of a foodie, an NPR listener, a pessimist who likes to think she’s a realist, a beer drinker, a middle child and only girl, a letter writer, an ex-wife and amicable co-parent, a sentimentalist, a Germanist, a girlfriend, and much, much more. I feel lucky to have grown up in Cincinnati and to be raising my own child in this wonderful city.

Cincinnati native. Wife to Chad. Mom to Madison, Noah, and Lydia. Runner. Coffee lover. Almost 5 years ago, I waved goodbye to my career in public accounting to stay home with the kids. When I’m not being the chef, ref, chauffeur and cheerleader, you’ll find me running loops around my neighborhood or enjoying a quiet dinner and gelato with my sweet husband.

I’ve lived in Cincinnati my whole life. I proudly grew up on the West Side, but much to the confusion of my childhood friends moved to the northeast area of Cincy. I attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts as a writing major for two years, then transferred and graduated from Colerain High School. I married my wonderful husband Joe in 2011, and we welcomed our sweet daughter Rozlyn in early 2016. If I could host a dream dinner with women I admire I would dine with Ina Garten, Maya Angelou, my late Gram, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Jennifer Lawrence. I am a boy band lover at heart and will drop everything the moment I hear “I Want It That Way” to sing and dance along. You can ask for proof from anyone at the grocery store! My other passions are cooking, reading, mom’s groups, being involved with my church, and enjoying every minute I can as a SAHM.

I am a wife, mommy to my sweet and spunky 2.5 year old little girl, Rory, and an art teacher. As a Cincinnati native I love this city and am thankful to be raising my family here. My day job often finds its way into my family life as I love getting creative with my daughter and letting her run wild with paint and lots of other art supplies. I am passionate about encouraging creativity and art making at any age. When I am not crafting or having adventures with my little girl, I love organizing, decorating, shopping for a bargain, exploring new places for family fun around the city, cooking, and searching for local restaurants with great food. I also run an Etsy shop, Aurora Jane’s Boutique, with my sister selling screen printed baby and toddler apparel.

I’m a Mommy to a beautiful little 4 year old girl named Ellie. I’m married to my amazing husband Matt. I work as a Toddler Teacher at a local daycare, full time. In my free time, I enjoy: church, all things Disney, reading, writing and quiet times with my family. I’m a simple girl! It does not take very much to make me happy. You will see me at the grocery store with my messy bun and yoga pants on, that’s for sure.

Cincinnati has been my home for the last 20 years, and thanks to all the friends we have made here, I am happy to call it my hometown. I am Mom to three–a ten-year-old girl and two boys who are twelve and fourteen. (Within minutes, I will be the shortest person in our household.) Life is never boring at our house. We homeschool the two youngest, and our oldest just started high school. The kids enjoy everything from volleyball to tennis to banjo to archery to gymnastics to computer gaming, which means I spend a lot of time driving. When I’m not doing that, I squeeze in a few of my other loves–exploring our city, crafting, reading, kayaking, hiking, gardening, traveling, and teaching people to take good care of their skin through my Mary Kay business. Oh, and of course writing!

Zandria is originally from Northwest Ohio. She met her husband in the beginning of her freshmen year of college. He is a born and raised Cincinnati west-sider. He took her home to meet the family that December and Zandria fell in love with her husband and Cincinnati. It was an easy decision to make as to what city they would live in after Zandria was done with school. Zandria has been married since 2008 and has lived in Cincinnati since 2009. She has two wonderful boys whom are 4 and 1 and also is pregnant with a third baby due in August 2017. When Zandria is not driving her boys around the city to have an adventure, she enjoys sewing, crafts in general, taking pictures of her family, debating with her husband over who is using a word correctly (and often getting out the dictionary), coffee, and great conversation.

I was born in New York and lived in several states before settling down in my favorite city of all time – Cincinnati! I have a biracial family that consists of my amazing and talented husband (Derek) and our beautiful, silly daughter (Adilyn). I work full time, am in school full time for another degree, write and illustrate children’s books, and volunteer on the facilities team at my church. I’ve also started a race relations campaign, “One In Cincy“. I still do my best to be the best mom and wife I can be! I love art museums, the theatre, reading, and Cincinnati parks. I’m a foodie and always love trying new places to eat. I hope other moms find either enlightenment or humor from my posts!

I was born and raised on the East side of the Queen City. When I left to pursue a music therapy degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, I didn’t think I would be returning. But after five years, a wedding, and a diploma, I changed my tune! My husband Stephen and I agreed that Cincinnati was the ultimate place to raise a family. Amazing parks and nature areas, delicious local food, a vibrant arts scene, and plenty of unique attractions to explore….what more could you want? We packed up the U-Haul and never looked back! Now I spend my days as a part-time nanny to two creative kiddos and a full-time mama bear to my own sweet baby boy, Shiloh. I also recently launched Clarity & Flair, a copywriting business for creative arts professionals. In my tiny slivers of free time, I love indulging in iced coffee, hot baths, and long books–preferably all at once.

I am originally from New Hampshire and moved to the Cincinnati area in 2003. I am a divorced mom to 2 amazing boys, Eli and Ethan. I lived in Northern Kentucky for the first 12 years I’ve been here and moved to the Westside of Cincinnati in 2015. We have LOVED all the opportunities to explore Cincinnati and everything it has to offer families! We are avid Reds fans and you will likely find us at Great American Ballpark quite a bit during baseball season. It’s basically our 2nd home in the summer! I have a degree in healthcare management and work full-time in Cincinnati. I have shared parenting of my boys, so when we are together, I try to make sure we make the most of our time! Whether it’s seeing Madcap Puppets, exploring the numerous local parks, enjoying the Cincinnati Pops, or cheering on our Cincinnati Redlegs, I strive to expose my boys to as many aspects of culture that I can!  I enjoy music (I’ve played piano for 30 years) as well as being crafty (as time allows!), making crazy cool cakes, and relaxing with my boys, my finace, and our dog Frankie! I’m really excited about sharing a piece of my world with you and this often times humorous and wild adventure I call my life as a mom!

I am a Dayton native who has lived in the Queen City for almost 10 years. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Mike and a mom to two littles, ages 1 and 2. We currently live in Anderson Township. My degree says I am a social worker, but my resume says she is an entrepreneur. I recently launched a lifestyle blog, Thrive Thirty One with the goal to empower women and help show women how to thrive in all seasons of life. I have been published in several popular blogs, such as Blunt Moms and Scary Mommy. My dream is to use my writing to empower women and cultivate community.

My family moved to the Cincinnati area when I was 12. From Forest Park, I made my way to Northern Kentucky. My husband Rusty and I have four children: Molly, Spencer, Rogan and Emmett. I am a registered nurse turned stay at home mom. I thrive on coffee and laughter. I enjoy Skyline, Cincinnati Reds and alone time at the airport’s airplane viewing area. I would describe myself as a hot mess. Every day can be a struggle and I hope to show other parents they are not alone.

I was born and raised on the east side of Cincinnati. For the time being, my husband Matt, 22 month-old daughter Emma and our crazy golden doodle Segundo (“second” in Spanish—the first dog didn’t work out—don’t ask) call Northern Kentucky our home. I am a mom, wife, nurse, runner, scrap-booker, baker and avid traveler. In my dream world, I would be a stay at home mom and live in Northern Michigan, which is, by far, my favorite vacation destination. Despite the fact that I am extremely organized and type A, I am
also spontaneous. One of our family traditions is to make approximately 50 homemade Christmas cards every year. In my free time, you can find my family and I at one of the many parks in the area (our favorite is Smale, especially in the summer), at the zoo or the aquarium. We also love going to Reds games. I look forward to sharing my mom thoughts and adventures!

I am relatively new to Cincinnati, and after living in Columbus for nearly three decades, I am glad to be back in the Buckeye State! Keeping all the wheels turning with my family of five serves as my full-time job, but I stay active with my teaching background by working with several education companies. When I am not stealing some time at the keyboard, I enjoy exploring all Cincinnati has to offer through the eyes of my four-year-old. Cooking, traveling, sideline cheering, and binge-watching a good drama series round out my favorites, but some of those happen much more often than others!

I was born in Cincinnati but transplanted to rural Michigan as a toddler with my parents. We moved back when I was in high school and I’ve been here since. I met my husband, Eric, while completing my undergrad in education at Miami University. Two master’s degrees, a house, and a dog later, we decided to expand our family. Our daughter Piper was born in April of this year. I’m a former enrollment counselor that is now navigating the new world of stay-at-home-mom (which is a misnomer since we rarely stay home!) and sharing my journey with my community.

I’m originally from Vermont and am a true New Englander at heart; fall foliage, the Patriots, clam chowdah and REAL maple syrup feel like home to me. My husband and I moved from South Carolina to Cincinnati two years ago when we matched here for his Emergency Medicine Residency at UC. We met in Haiti in 2010 while I was living/working there and have now been married for five years. We have a 17-month-old daughter named Charleston and are due in October with another girl. I am gratefully a SAHM that spends her time taking care of our 8 chickens, volunteering, attending Bible study, having tea parties with Charleston and reading or writing when I can. We have loved living in Madisonville and exploring the greater Cincinnati area. Travel, long dinners with friends, U2, family hikes, Greek salads and most importantly, Jesus, all make my heart sing. Oh, and coffee, did I mention coffee?

I’ve lived in many areas of the country but planted my roots here in Cincy. I’m a wife and mother to one little guy. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I worked in TV for 6 years. I love running, fitness, and anything Disney. I write about my mileage as a runner and a mom at my blog Paces and Pacifiers. You can also find me ‘grammin’ away on Instagram at @pacesandpacifiers

I love Cincinnati for far too many reasons to list, but mostly, it just feels like home. I stepped foot onto UC’s campus as a freshman in 2002, and I’ve never left. I’ve worked at UC through my bachelor’s, master’s and PhD, and can’t imagine not being a Bearcat. My most favorite job of all is raising my 3 incredible children (Gabriel James, and twins Ayla Meryem & Ari Kerem) with my husband Serkan. He’s from Istanbul, Turkey, so we’ve had to navigate all sorts of cultural and travel fun in our time together. My passion for health, wellness, and fitness has lead me to roles with the American Council on Exercise and as an adjunct professor, with my continued purpose in life is to help people find ways to feel and be their best selves. As a busy twin + 1 mama, I hope my experiences can resonate with you!

I’m a Mom of 4 lovely children, aging from 4 to 15. I’ve heard and seen it all, so nothing surprises me with kids or parenting. I grew up in Indianapolis, however, I’ve lived the last 10 years in California. Our family decided to move back to the area and chose Cincinnati as our forever home. We love exploring the Queen City and finding new parks to hike in.

I was born and raised in the Queen City and have always lived in Liberty Township, with the exception of my time at The Ohio State University – O-H-I-O! I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for 5 wonderful years and I am a proud #boymom to Nolan (2 1/2) and Beckett (5 months)! I have always been passionate about writing and love to now have an excuse to do it more! My family loves to explore the city and are always looking for new places to discover and burn off some of this toddler energy we are surrounded with 24/7. My ultimate mom wish would be to have an extra 2 hours each day so I can sleep longer and enjoy more me time!
