It was while I was on a vacation in my home away from (Jacksonville, FL) that I was first exposed to this network of amazing women and mothers after my sister in-law referred me some of the posts on Jacksonville Moms Blog. While I don’t live there permanently, I am very familiar with the Jacksonville area. I found myself referencing this resource throughout my visit with my family. I loved the layout, content and ease with which the site could be navigated. As a result, I found myself wondering if we had something similar in Cincinnati that I could add to my bookmarked internet resources. It turns out, we did not, so I contacted the City Moms Blog Network and the rest (as they say) is history.
As I mentioned above, I love the product produced by this network and the sister sites. I love how user friendly the platform is as a website and resource.
I love the idea of combining parenting resources with Cincinnati pride and the support of moms in the community.
I love the freedom and excitement of discovering new partnerships and people within the community that I would likely have never encountered otherwise.
I cherish the role we plan to play in helping to build a supportive network of diverse moms both in an online community and at local events.
But, what really sold me, more than anything else, was the support and camaraderie of the City Moms Blog Network itself. My experience from the very beginning has been one full of welcome, encouragement, empowerment and support.
Cincinnati Moms Blog is currently the baby of the network. We joined in July, launching only a month ago with our official site. I have learned so much about this business from the amazing mothers and women I am now fortunate enough to know and work with through the network. This business venture has been a completely different experience for me. I have learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of when I take a chance and commit to something.
I have met some incredible women through this journey. People I would not have had the chance to meet otherwise. I love seeing the talents showcased in the posts from my contributors. I have a greater appreciation for diversity in opinions and interests. And I am excited about the response we have received from the community. I have been witness to some amazing business ventures and am honored to be able to be a cheerleader for products and services I believe in.
I am really looking forward to growing this site and our business. I am grateful to the network of sisters that I have inherited as part of this journey and am in awe of their talent and drive. I am very excited about beginning to expand our community beyond the virtual world into events that will help bring local Cincinnati moms together in a way that will provide support, friendship, and relaxation.
