I love summer picnics and grill outs but do not always have the time to put together elaborate recipes. Here are some of my easy go-to summer recipes to bring to all those summer events. (These recipes are being featured this morning on Cincinnati’s WLWT Channel 5 by our very own Cincinnati Mom’s Blog.)

Simple Pasta Salad
Pre-package Pasta Salad Kit
Optional:
Veggies
Cheese
Pepperoni
Cooked Chicken
Whatever sounds good
Prepare pasta salad according to directions of package. Make it your own add any combination vegetables (tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, red onion, bell peppers, olives, banana peppers, etc.), cheese cubes, pepperoni or other hard sausages, or cooked chicken. Prepare the packaged seasoning dressing. Add to pasta. Chill for several hours.
Easy Fruit Dip
8oz cream cheese
7oz marshmellow cream
1 cup powdered sugar
Optional:
1/8 cup fresh or bottled orange juice
Mix all ingredients, add orange juice if desired. Can serve right away or chill. Serve with fruit.
Quick Peach Cobbler
14oz can of peaches*
8oz yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
Preheat oven to 350. Pour peaches into 8×8 oven safe dish. Soften butter (use 3/4 to a full stick of butter). Mix butter and cake mix. Sprinkle on top of peaches. Bake for 30ish minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
* can substitute cherries, apples, strawberries, or blueberries for peaches
