The toddler curriculum addresses the three primary developmental needs for a child under age 3 – movement, language and order – and provides objects, relationships and an environment which fulfill the toddler’s innate compulsion to learn. Learning is self-directed and supported in each classroom by university-trained Montessori curriculum experts.

Classrooms are designed with Montessori teaching methods in mind, with area for large circles and separate independent work areas that include manipulative materials that promote cognitive development. The Montessori also has gym equipment specifically designed to stimulate fine and gross motor skills and many opportunities for outdoor learning and play on walk-out classroom patios, an outdoor playground, a rooftop playground naturescape, a dedicated Outdoor Learning Space and the Leibold Pond.

As children advance through the toddler program they move seamlessly into the Pre-K and Kindergarten Montessori program, which continues development of confidence and enabling them to face new challenges as they grow.
