About the Show: Members of the Young Professionals Choral Collective are joining to perform standards from their repertoire as well as a selection of songs from their latest concert, Drinking and Dancing, that was held at the Moerlein Brewery. The members of YPCC come from neighborhoods and companies from around Cincinnati to make music and explore their city.

City Slicker Sundays, Fountain Square

Every Sunday at noon, Fountain Square transforms into downtown Cincinnati’s largest outdoor patio! Relax with fellow fans as you watch the Reds on our big screen, or grab a friend and try your hand at a game of cornhole or Giant Jenga. Full bar service, drink specials, and food available. Art on Vine will also host a special market the first Sunday of every month from noon to 6:00pm! Come browse isles of artistic offerings made by local artists from the surrounding area.

Smale Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies
P&G go VibrantScape, June 4, 6-7:30p
A series of fun play and exercise features for people of all ages, set within a unique environment. Features are being designed to be interactive and include a giant foot piano, a flying pig, and water pumps and channels.
Rosenberg Swings, June 15
The Rosenberg Swings – donated by Dianne and J. David Rosenberg – are family-sized porch swings that afford spectacular views of the Ohio River and the Kentucky shoreline from Smale Riverfront Park. When the first set of swings opened in 2013, they instantly became one of the park’s most popular features. Thirteen new swings will now be installed along the new Great Lawn on the west side of the park!
Gardner Family Grove & Rose Garden, 4-6p
This tree grove—similar to yet larger than the existing tree grove on the east side of the park—will contain meandering pathways, understory plantings and several varieties of roses.
The Portland Loo, June 19
The new Portland Loo in Smale Riverfront Park is a simple, sturdy flush toilet kiosk. The loo is free to the public, and accessible most of the year—with the exception of the coldest winter months, when pipes (and the toilet seat!) can freeze. The Portland Loo at the park will give our community a clean, safe, and environmentally-friendly restroom facility. You gotta GO!
Castellini Esplanade, June 21, noon ceremony & afternoon farmer’s market
The esplanade will be a setting for farmers’ markets and other community activities. Its design will reflect the historic character of the produce industry that used to be housed on the site. A picnic terrace will flank both sides of the Castellini Esplanade. The unique setting includes moveable picnic tables on wheels, set on rails in a tribute to the produce distribution center formerly on the site.

The 8 and 16 mile routes will be on a new closed-road loop course in Ohio on Eastern Avenue. The 26, 45 and 63 mile routes will still be in Kentucky on Route 8 (as in previous years, this road is not closed to traffic). For 2015, there will not be a separate kids ride, but children are welcome to do any of the rides with an adult. All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the ride. Important Note: Helmets are mandatory for all riders and all ride distances.

Concours d’Elegance, Ault Park

The Ault Park Concours d’Elegance is a nationally recognized car show that highlights some of the most spectacular automobiles and motorcycles of all time. Ault Park offers one of the most unique settings for a Concours in the country. WestFest, Downtown Cheviot

Cheviot’s WestFest is the biggest street festival on the west side of Cincinnati. It seems like everyone has something they love about WestFest. For some it’s standing in front of one of our two live music stages. For others it’s getting a chance to try all the great food and drinks WestFest has to offer. It’s also a great way to get out an stroll up and down bumping into old friends and making new ones. A $2.00 Admission Fee will be collected at the gate and each patron will be given a wrist band that must be worn during the event. Festival goers under the age of 18 must be with a parent or legal guardian.

International Butterfly Show, Krohn Conservatory

This year’s theme is Butterflies of the Philippines. Cascading waterfalls, colorful parrot fish, and mysterious stone sculptures will set the stage for thousands of free flying butterflies who flutter together among visitors and throughout the tropical landscape inside Krohn Conservatory. $7, $4 children, free ages 4 and under. $12 unlimited admission pins.
