Hello world! It can be a struggle to get in all of the fun crafts that one may desire for every holiday celebration.  Halloween is no exception.  If you are in need of a few last minute Halloween craft and decor ideas for your party, here are a few quick tips:

  • First, focus on staying budget friendly.  My favorite “hot spot” for craft supplies is The Dollar Tree.  They have all the items you need and of course, everything is actually $1!  For my “BOO” themed Halloween feature today, I used decor from Dollar tree.  This includes the Spider Cider (which is actually apple juice for my little toddler to enjoy), Bat’s Brew (which is soda), and the fun spider, cat, and ant accessories.

  • Next, make sure your set up is fun for the age guests you are hosting for.  If you are partying with toddlers, it is very important that the decor is toddler friendly (nothing too scary).  You can spice it up a bit for older children and adults.
  • Finally, the crafts are the part which enhances the visual appeal and overall theme of your party.  The fun printables were added to the push pops, paper straws, and used as labels.  These can be handmade, found on Etsy,  or contact me!.  If you really want to get crafty, add touches of fun ribbon to the jars and banner.

  • You can also hand make extra decor pieces such as my custom meringue cookie tower made with a cone foam, orange icing, and black spray painted meringue cookies. For a closing craft you can make paper favor boxes using Paper Acorn DIY favor box kits.

With these tips your Halloween party is sure to be a success. It’s never too late to plan a last minute party!
