Crafting, creating and getting together with friends are 3 things that I absolutely adore! If any if those things spark your fancy, you will be very excited to read about a business that I recently fell in love with – Gild Collective.
Gild Collective is an online business that provides “anytime parties” (in addition to some other unique shower and party options) by way of crafting & DIY. It is start-up founded by 2 women named Kelsey & Rachel. I don’t know them personally, but after browsing their blog and hosting my very own craft party, I have decided that they would be a lot of fun to hang out with!
Gild Collective is all about gathering in community, and helping you to plan the craft party that you have been dreaming about. The best part about it is how easy it is to plan an amazing evening anywhere, anytime. You select the date & venue, grab a group of friends or co-workers, and choose the party box that you want to create. Add a few simple snacks & cocktails & they do the rest!
This really is an anytime party.
Perfect for a fun girls night in, an excuse to get together with those family members you never see, or even a great way to bond with your fellow moms while waiting (all.day.long) at those sporting events. Do you know someone who is on bed rest and could use a “pick me up” full of laughter? Do you have a friend who is going through a tough time and just needs a night surrounded by people who care about her? There are literally so many reasons why something like this would be just the ticket to help make someone smile or give moms and excuse to have some fun.
And bonus… you get to take something amazing away with you when it’s all over.
One of the many things I admire about Gild Collective is that their business model revolves around “The 3 C’s”: Confidence, Creativity & Community. All things that I am passionate about! We all could use a little more of “The 3 C’s” in our lives right?!
I decided on the Rustic String Art for my party, and it was a runaway success! We all chose a different color & design, which added a personal touch to the evening. There are so many unique party box choices, deciding on one may very well be the hardest part! (Which is a great excuse to hold another party!)
Ready to plan your party? Here are some important details:
- The cost of the craft box is $15-$25 per person (the more you order, the more you save).
- When you are shopping for your craft box, each project is rated on complexity (creativity/artistic ability/concentration) so you can choose the best fit for your group.
- Each project takes about 2-3 hours to complete.
Oh and I don’t think I actually mentioned that they deliver the supplies right to your door, complete with detailed instructions to help your project come to life. This experience just keeps getting better & better right?!
It was honestly one of the most fun things that I have done in awhile. I am a mom and crafting with my kids usually trumps crafting for my own enjoyment! At the end of the night we all walked away impressed by our skills, and amazed that we had finally gotten the chance to complete a craft project and catch up with no interruptions! Cheers to us!
After hosting my own craft party, I realized that Gild Collective is more than just a fun night out with friends. It is a simple way to bring pizazz to routine meetings or get-togethers, and a reason to connect with important people in our lives. Aside from the Bridal, Baby & Sorority options that are offered, it would be delightful to take a craft box to a friend in the hospital, add it to a team-building event or even incorporate it as a group activity for the million things that we all are involved in. The beauty of it is that you can really do it any time! The possibilities are endless!!
