Friendly Freezes
Even with fall approaching, every kid (and mom alike) wants to indulge in a sweet frozen treat! With the holiday weekend here, I’m sure you want to make fun and delicious desserts for your friends and family to enjoy together. Here, I want to share some options that are nutritious enough to enjoy every day!
BANANA NICE CREAM
Banana “nice cream” is so smooth and creamy you won’t even miss the added sugar or cream. It’s easy as 1-2-3 to prepare. Just keep some peeled bananas in your freezer so they’ll be ready when you are in the mood for this delicious and versatile dessert.

FREEZER POPS
Everyone loves sweet, icy popsicles, and they are super fun and easy to make—all these recipes have 4 ingredients or less!
They are a snap to make at home whether you have a Popsicle mold or not. If you don’t have a mold, simply place your fruit blend in paper cups, cover with tin foil and then place Popsicle stick (or wooden chop stick!) through foil and freeze.

If you’re just too hot and tired to whip up your own frozen treat, we have some great options. Here at Whole Foods Market, we don’t allow high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or flavors in any of our products so you can feel confident that you aren’t getting any pops that will spike your blood sugar through the roof.

Fruit and Veggie Bars! All bars have at least a ½ cup of real fruit and vegetables. Choose from Carrot Tangerine, Strawberry Rhubarb, or Tropical Greens!
